A highly carved fruitwood armchair of the Chippendale period. The quality of the carving is excellent throughout including a florette on the crest rail, eagles' heads on the arms, acanthus leaves on the knees, and ball and claw feet. The drop-in seat covered in old needlework.
An Exceptional Large Regency Convex Mirror
A large giltwood convex mirror of extraordinary quality. The crest carved with a perched eagle flanked by florettes and trailing acanthus leaves. The original mirror plate is encircled by an ebonized, reeded molding and flanked by two girandole arms either side.
