A twelve foot long farmhouse table. The top formed of one single board of pine bordered by oak framing. Raised on square channeled oak legs. Lovely, creamy color to the pine.

An oak farmhouse table with terrific, thick top formed mostly from a single, figured board (plus some old patches). The chunky legs are heavily chamfered and connected by a central stretcher.

A Chippendale period mahogany kneehole chest with rococo handles and raised on ogee bracket feet. The cock-beading around the drawers is carved to look like braided rope. Also with blind fret decoration on the frieze drawer as well as the canted corners. Exceptional color and patina. Wonderfully figured veneers.

A Dutch burl walnut chest of drawers of smaller size. The shaping of the drawer fronts reflects the shaping of the top. With the unusual feature of the deep bottom drawer which is carved with a stylized fan or shell. The figured veneers are of the highest quality as is the color and patina.

An Italian walnut cabinet with elaborately shaped cornice surmounted by turned finials. The two shaped paneled doors conceal fixed shelving. On later bun feet.

A carved oak architectural element in the form of a winged lion. The carving executed with a deft crispness and good depth. Retaining a rich color and patina.

A pair of large and superb quality Spode fruit coolers raised on footed bases. The rich pink ground is decorated with floral gilding. Each cooler with a pair of gilded handles and the lids with braided and gilded handles. Each one retains the original liner which also has a band of pink and gilding. Marked on the underside “Spode 3971.”

A lath and splat back Windsor armchair in the High Wycombe tradition. As seen in the best of these chairs, it is a large and comfortable size with a thick, fretted splat. In fruitwood with a figured elm seat. The back of the seat stamped "69.GD."

An oak dresser on shaped, silhouette legs.The two-board, quarter-sawn top is cleated at the ends. With a thick molding just above the wonderfully shaped apron. Unusually shallow proportions. Excellent color and patina.

An Italian solid walnut credenza with thick paneled doors flanked by styles with a bit of foliate carving. The canted corners and sides are incised with shaped designs. The thick top sits just above a row of dentil molding.

An unusual form oak dresser with one central drawer flanked by two drawers on each end. With row of spice drawers along the back edge of the serving surface and a shaped apron which is raised on cabriole legs.

An English marquetry chest with a lovely, mellow color. The drawers inlaid with vignettes of floral marquetry surrounded by burl walnut. The top and sides inlaid with scenes featuring perched parrots.

A Regency period breakfronted bookcase with brass grilled doors to the upper section. Built of lovely, figured mahogany timbers. The cupboard doors of thick, paneled construction. With adjustable shelves in both the upper and lower sections.

Expertly carved foliage along the sides and separating the upper and lower plates. The form reflects the transition from the earlier Queen Anne design into the later Georgian mode. Retaining the original plates.

A round copper log bin of great size raised on iron feet and with iron handles. Could be used as a coffee table with a glass top.
