A shaped front burr elm commode retaining a terrific color and patina. The three drawer fronts are each fashioned out of a single board of highly figured elm and the arched paneled sides in similarly figured timber. The top is made of pine and in its original state was probably painted to simulate marble. It now has a nice, waxed surface.
